Sharon Bott was born in Shanghai, China.
In 1984, she graduated from Shanghai Tongji University with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
In 1999, she immigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver.
In 2000, she met her husband, Nicholas J. Bott artist, in Vancouver. Since then, she has travelled with Nicholas a lot and been many places to look for landscape scenery. From the far Northern BC, the Salmon Glacier, to the Southern AB, Waterton Lakes National Park; from the west end, Bamfield, Vancouver Island, to the east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, Greenland. They also explored and followed the Northwest Passage around the Arctic Circle. Numerous times they visited Rocky Mountains in different seasons, sometimes they took a helicopter to access remote areas.
Sharon worked with Nicholas as a team for over 20 years. She really admired his creative spirits and felt honored to be his wife. It inspired her to be an artist.
She started to practice painting in 2016 and now settled in Langley.
