Ursula
resides in Cochrane, Alberta. She is a member of the
Northwest Watercolour Society, The Calgary Artists’
Society and the Centennial Gallery in Calgary, Alberta.
She studied art at the The Alberta College of Art
and Design, The University of Saskatchewan, The University
of Calgary and the Dundas School of Art.
Ursula
enjoys instructing classes in watercolor, mixed-media
and experimental art at her studio in southern Alberta.
She also continues to explore new techniques and further
develop her unique style by hosting and attending
workshops with many of North America’s most
prominent teaching artists. Watercolor workshops instructed
by Brian Atyeo, Alex Powers, Barbara Nechis and Maxine
Masterfield have helped Ursula find her own distinctive
style.
From
1995 - 1997, Ursula was the coordinator for the ‘Art
of Citizenship Show’ at the Calgary Chinese
Cultural Center.
Ursula has exhibited her work at many solo and group
shows throughout western Canada and her paintings
can be found in private and corporate collections
throughout the world, including Mexico, Europe and
Japan.
